Jordyn Peters
Physio | Ortho - Chemong & Lansdowne

Jordyn is a physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people of all ages and activity levels stay active and get back to doing the things they love. She takes an exercise-based approach to treatment, working collaboratively with each client to develop a plan that is tailored to their individual goals, needs, and lifestyle. Born and raised in Peterborough, Jordyn is excited to return home and help people in her community stay active for life.

Jordyn completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa in 2021, followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2023. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a student trainer and strength and conditioning intern with the University of Ottawa men’s lacrosse team and coached volleyball at Soul Beach Volleyball in Peterborough. These experiences helped develop her passion for movement, exercise, and helping others reach their physical goals.

As a physiotherapist, Jordyn has experience working with both musculoskeletal and neurological patients in an outpatient setting. She also spent the past three years at Mount Sinai Hospital, primarily working with patients in general surgery and surgical oncology, the intensive care unit, and orthopaedics. This diverse experience has given her a broad clinical background and an understanding of rehabilitation across a variety of conditions and stages of recovery.

Outside of the clinic, Jordyn enjoys staying active and spending time with friends. She grew up playing sports and continues to love indoor and beach volleyball, skiing, and working out. She is excited to be back in Peterborough and looks forward to helping her clients stay active and return to the activities that are meaningful to them!
