The trainers at Pulse Physio & Performance – Lansdowne are extremely experienced and knowledgeable, having logged thousands of hours training everyone from elite athletes to weekend warriors. Our trainers will work alongside you to discuss your previous exercise experience, determine your training goals, and create a game plan for success. Armed with a goal and a plan, the top-tier equipment and spacious gym space will help inspire you to reach new heights in your fitness journey.

60 min Private Session - $80 + HST
60 min Semi-Private Session (2 – 3 people) - $120 + HST

Fernando has over 15 years of broad expertise in coaching and programming for general fitness, weightlifting, CrossFit, and high-performance sports preparation. Fernando’s fitness career began in 2009 when he became a certified personal trainer. In 2013, he discovered CrossFit and became a certified CrossFit Coach later that year. His passion for the sport grew quickly, and in 2014, he opened his own CrossFit affiliate, where he built a strong community and coached athletes to reach their highest potential. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, as well as a variety of CrossFit certifications, including CrossFit Level 2, CrossFit Weightlifting, and CrossFit Gymnastics. Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Fernando moved to Toronto in 2019, where he worked as a personal trainer and CrossFit coach before relocating to Peterborough in the spring of 2024 with his wife.
Over the years, Fernando has helped clients of all fitness levels achieve their goals with tailored, results-driven programs. Fernando holds a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and completed a Half Marathon in 2022, reflecting his well-rounded athletic background and commitment to personal fitness. Fernando’s coaching philosophy is centered around providing a supportive, motivational presence. Fernando is dedicated to being a motivating presence and strives to inspire the clients here at Pulse Physio & Performance, and help them achieve their fitness goals!

Born and raised in the Peterborough area, Claire has always had a passion for fitness, athletics, and helping others reach their personal goals. She graduated from Georgian College with a Fitness and Health Promotion diploma in 2015 and went on to become a certified personal trainer.
Claire joined the Pulse team in 2021 as part of our stellar admin staff and quickly became a key part of the client experience at our Lansdowne St. W location. In addition to her administrative role, Claire offers both group fitness classes and personal training, bringing her energy and expertise to even more aspects of the gym.
A proud mom of two, Claire loves spending time with her growing family. When she’s not at Pulse, or chasing after her little ones, Claire enjoys any form of outdoor activity, with a special interest in snowboarding.
